Pursuant to Article 13 of the GDPR, APRE - Agency for the Promotion of European Research, as data controller, informs that the personal data related to You, present in our database will be processed in compliance with applicable law and the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of Your privacy and Your rights.

 

 

Data controller

 

The data controller is APRE - European Research Promotion Agency with registered office in Rome, via Cavour 71 - 00184 Rome.

 

 

Type of data processed

 

The compilation and forwarding of the modules present on the APRE website, the voluntary registration to events or the request for services, as well as the optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to the APRE contact addresses, shall entail the acquisition of contact data of the sender, as well as all of the personal data included in the communications required to provide the requested services.

 

 

Purpose of the processing of data

 

The purposes and methods of processing are indicated in the specific information associated with the data collection and acquisition forms. The processing of data is aimed at achieving the institutional objectives of APRE for the promotion of research and innovation activities, such as: sending newsletters, sending invitations to conferences and information events, the promotion of classroom courses and on-line trainings (webinars). The processing of data is also necessary for the management of requests for information and assistance related to the institutional tasks of APRE.

 

 

Legal basis of the processing of data

 

Legal basis of the processing is the consent expressed by the subject involved in the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes (Article 6 paragraph 1, letter a) of the GDPR).

 

 

Method and scope of the processing of data

 

The processing will take place through the collection of personal data online in the case of direct registration on the APRE website or through a hard copy in the case of conferences, information days and the subsequent placing of the data in the information system of the Association. Personal data will be processed exclusively by persons authorized to process and appropriately trained, as well as by data controllers linked to the holder by a specific contract. The personal data processed will not be disseminated.

 

 

Exercise of rights by data subjects

 

Pursuant to Article 15 and following of the GDPR, the subjects to whom the personal data refer have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation from the Data Controller of the existence or lack of existence of such data, to know its content and origin, to verify its accuracy or request the integration, deletion, updating, rectification, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of personal data processed in violation of the law, as well as to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their processing. Requests should be addressed to the Data Controller. Data storage

 

In compliance with Article 5 paragraph 1 letter e) of the GDPR, the personal data collected will be stored in a form that allows the identification of data subjects for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which the personal data are processed. The data collected for information and assistance to users about APRE's initiatives related to the interests of the users will be kept for 10 years.
