The APRE network in Italy

Since its inception, APRE has aimed at utilising the capacities and experience of its members in order to promote EU R&TD programmes throughout Italy and in various research and industrial areas.

This approach has lead to the growth of a network which has APRE's head office and help desks as its basic reference points.

The help desks, hosted and managed by APRE's members, operate at the national level and in general are located in the capitals of their respective regions. In addition to providing the same services as APRE, the help desks promote the initiatives of APRE's members situated in the region and support those brought forward by other institutions and organisations operating in the field of research and technological innovation.

Lastly, APRE's members make significant contributions to the network, each in relation to their own specific activities, and promote and assist in initiatives aimed at enhancing Italian participation in EU programmes
