About Us

APRE, Agency for the Promotion of European Research, is a non-profit association that provides the following services:

TRAINING
ASSISTANCE

on research and technological development programmes of the European Union.
Established in 1990, APRE represents a vast interest group of organisations and companies which are active in research and technological innovation in Italy. These organisations adhere to APRE in the role of contributing and ordinary members.

APRE has its head office situated in Rome as well as regional help desks that form a network throughout the national territory.

At present management is composed of:

Vice-President: Prof. Stefano Greco

Director: Dr. Diassina Di Maggio (APRE)

Other governing bodies of APRE are the Technical and Scientific Committee and the Board of Auditors.

APRE's resources consist of annual contributions from its members; financing available from conventions and agreements; professional services provided regarding projects, studies and various types of initiatives carried out for EU bodies or other operators.

APRE carries out its activities according to a quality system drawn up in accordance with the UNI-EN-ISO-9002 and UNI-EN-ISO-9001 regulations and certified by CISQ CERT.

APRE is present throughout Italy thanks to the network of its help desks and members.
In Europe, APRE has sound contacts with organisms that carry out similar roles within their respective countries. In particular APRE is part of the National Contact Point and Innovation Relay Centre networks.
